How does period swimwear work?
It differs from period underwear in one respect: the outer layer of 82 % nylon and 18 % spandex carries a water-repellent finish. Very little water reaches the absorbent core while you swim, leaving the gusset free for your flow. Once out of the water the outside dries quickly while the core keeps the fluid locked in.
Do I still need a tampon?
Not on light to medium days. The bikini bottom holds 10–20 ml; the swimsuit and swim skirt hold 20–30 ml. On very heavy days pair swimwear with a menstrual cup or disc — the cup takes the volume and the swimwear acts as backup.
Which cut suits me?
The bikini bottom pairs with any top and is the most discreet option for light days. The swimsuit has adjustable double straps and full rear coverage. The swim skirt is the choice if you want more coverage over hips and thighs — a bikini bottom is sewn in underneath.

Can I swim in chlorine and salt water?
Yes. The fabrics are made for pool and sea water. Rinse in cold water afterwards so chlorine and salt do not attack the fibres.
Is anything visible in the water?
No. The absorbent core is sewn into the lining and invisible from the outside. The outer layer is water-repellent, so nothing escapes when you leave the water.
How long can I wear it?
Depending on your flow; the bikini bottom holds 10–20 ml, the swimsuit and skirt 20–30 ml. For a full beach day, bring a second piece to change into.
Do they have UV protection?
The bikini bottom and swim skirt carry UPF 50+ sun protection in the main fabric.
